Abstract

Nanotechnology is an enabling technology that has revolutionized many related disciplines such as food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and nutraceuticals. Driven by increasing consumer demand for healthy food products and need for better drug delivery systems, researchers have been applying tools and knowledge in nanotechnology to address the specific relevant issues. Nanotechnology holds great promise to provide benefits for improving the understanding and designing better products.
